Professional interests:  The European chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries.

Interest in camellias:  All facets of camellia culture, growing, and history, developed over 20 years in U.K. growing camellias in our London garden (17 x 40 ft. -- 5 x 12 m).  We propagate from seeds, some of which we have acquired from our travels around the world to areas where camellias either are cultivated or grow in the wild.

Other personal interests:  roses, opera, quilting & other decorative needle arts, bagpiping.

Member of the International Camellia Society, currently (2004-2006) vice-president for Europe.
