Useful temperature ranges for camellias depend on cultivar, location, type of cultivation etc.
This picture is an attempt to generalize these influences. In general, temperatures within the green range are well-suited for camellia cultivation.  The newer cold-hardy camellias can withstand temperatures in the cooler, blue zone.  And some varieties and species of camellia thrive in warmer temperatures.
